White Filings

A filling replaces part of a tooth that has been lost because of decay or through accidental damage.

Tooth coloured or ‘white' fillings provide a healthier, more natural looking alternative to traditional amalgam fillings.

White fillings are know as ‘composite' fillings and are made from a putty-like resin-based material that be moulded to the exact shape of the tooth. They are life-like and long-lasting. They have some limitations involving size and position in the mouth, and your dentist will discuss these with you.

White fillings allow for a more minimally invasive restoration and as a result you preserve more of your natural tooth.
