Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update - 15th June 2021
We're Still Open!

Presently we are unable to accept new patients as we are full to capacity.

Dear patients,

Due to the current restrictions and the need to keep everyone as safe as possible, the walk-in clinic has been suspended and visiting the dental clinic is now strictly by appointment only.

Following the Prime Minster's announcement on the 4th January, we are still open for all dental procedures - as 'dentistry' has been confirmed as the provision of essential healthcare. All scheduled appointments will therefore go ahead as booked, so there is no need to phone us to confirm your appointment. However, if your Covid status changes, please do let us know so that your appointment can be rescheduled

Please call us on 020 7359 6103 to make an appointment for a dental check-up or if you have any dental concerns.

We will not be able to make appointments in person, so please ensure that you have telephoned to make an appointment before you make the journey.

Dental Emergencies
Please note that in order to keep everyone safe during the pandemic we are not able to run the walk-in clinic for emergencies. If you have a dental emergency please call the practice on 020 7359 6103 to make an appointment.

For out of hours dental emergencies please contact NHS 111.

You would have noticed in your previous visits that infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. With the current situation in mind, we want to tell you about the added measures being taken to keep our patients and staff as safe as possible.

Our practice follows infection control recommendations made by the Department of health and social care – Health Technical Memorandum 01-05, as well as the Standard Operating Procedures as set out by the NHS. To ensure that we are up to date on any new clinical guidance, we also follow the advice of the NHS, CQC, Public Health England, the British Dental Association, and the General Dental Council.

You may notice some changes at your next appointment which have been made to help protect our patients and staff. For example:

  • The walk in system has been temporarily suspended
  • The front door will be locked and patients will only gain entry if they have a booked appt.
  • Please attend alone unless there are exceptional circumstances.
  • When you telephone to book an appt we will ask you some screening questions. You will be asked those same questions again when you enter the practice and if you bring an essential visitor with you eg Carer/Interpreter they will also be screened.
  • We have hand sanitiser that you must use when entering the practice.
  • Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing, as well as a full a decontamination clean of the practice between patients.
  • We ask that you arrive on time for your appointment as you will no longer be able to wait in the practice. We will not be able to admit latecomers.
  • Contactless payments will be required where possible.
  • Staff will be wearing additional protective clothing including filtration masks, visors, aprons, gloves.
  • Due to the above changes we will only be operating with 5 dentists on rota.
  • Please bring your own pen with you for forms to be signed.
  • Toilets will closed but should you need to use in an emergency please ask reception.
  • Please ensure you clean your teeth at home before attending the practice as the washroom facilities will not be available.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call the practice on 020 7359 6103. Please note that we are only able to make appointments over the telephone due to screening questions.
